Me, My Body, and Alcohol is an ongoing therapeutic group for women looking to really invest in themselves, better understand their drinking and learn about options for feeling better. More importantly, the group setting provides the opportunity to foster genuine connection and creates a safe place to share the joys and challenges and gain support.
So you’ve done a short term challenge or two?
Easy, huh? Sober September, Dry January…you can do it! But have you ever wondered if more time without drinking may benefit you? Perhaps you are wondering about your energy, your fatigue, your temper, your missed obligations. Perhaps even people are commenting on your drinking or stereotyping you. Do you want a safe place to think out loud about these thoughts with likeminded people?
Why Group Therapy?
Group therapy has shown to benefit alcohol users not just because of the benefits of camaraderie and they “they just get me” feelings, but because new or forgotten ways to socialize are found and used and thinking and feeling patterns also improve.
Why not give yourself the opportunity to understand your drinking patterns more fully?
