One of the area’s top experts in addiction medicine, eating disorders and psychotherapy, Jyotika Vazirani, PMHNP, CS-P, BC, is starting a new therapeutic group for women “Me, My Body and Alcohol”. Part of Vazirani’s private practice, the ongoing weekly group will serve women for whom drinking is starting to negatively impact their health, relationships, work or how they feel in their bodies.

Vazirani identifies the ideal “Me, My Body & Alcohol” group member as “looking for insight into what they really need and how to get it healthfully”. Vazirani adds, “this is so women can have genuine emotional support, open up to their joy and share their worries.”

Limited to 8 committed women, “Me, My Body & Alcohol” will meet Tuesday afternoons at 2:30 pm for 75 minutes at a cost of $85 per session. Vazirani states, “this group is for women ready to make an investment in themselves.” In accordance with Covid-19 restrictions, the group is currently meeting online using a HIPAA-compliant software.
